August Dental Promotion
It’s the moment we have all been waiting for!!! Our August back to school dental promo is back!
As temperatures cool and we begin to break out the Pumpkin Spice for all of our fall festivities, we also make our way into flea and tick season. Rather than letting these pesky insects put a damper in your autumn, it’s best to take action early! Check out some of these helpful tips to prevent fleas and ticks for your pup!
1. Take Part in the Final Weeks of our October Bravecto Promotion!
Ready to say goodbye to fleas and ticks with a reliable treatment? Ask your trusted AVC vet-tech about Bravecto and receive 20% off a purchase of 2, plus an $8 mail-in rebate. Be sure to hurry, as there are only 2 more weeks left in this great promotion!
2. It’s Time to Pamper Your Pup.
Be sure to go through your dog’s fur once a day with a flea comb! Do this on top of a white towel so that you can easily see if any fleas drop or if there’s any flea dirt (this looks like dirt, but is actually dried blood). After you’re finished, move the droppings to a container of soapy water and flush it down the toilet.
3. Bath Time!
Wash those pests out of your little guy or gal’s fur by regularly bathing them in a flea or tick shampoo. This can also help by applying warm water to your pup’s skin if they’re experiencing irritation from fleas or ticks! Should your furry best friend seem especially itchy, reach out to us here at AVC for some extra helpful tips and tricks.
4. Let’s Tidy Up.
Keep your home flea and tick free by regularly tidying up. Break out your pup’s nemesis, the vacuum cleaner, regularly to suck up any pests or irritants that could be hiding in carpet, area rugs, bare floors, furniture, and your dog’s bedding. The cleaning session shouldn’t stop here either! Make sure to frequently care for your lawn by mowing, pulling weeds, and trimming bushes to keep fleas and ticks away.
5. Still Struggling? Pay us a Visit!
Is your little fur ball still struggling with fleas and ticks? It’s nothing that your helpful AVC vet-techs can’t handle. Give us a call or swing by in-person for additional help in keeping your pet flea and tick free!
