Summer Daze – Fun Events for You & Your Dog

It’s still so hot, everybody! It doesn’t seem like the heat is going anywhere any time soon, but AVC has worked to compile some late summer holiday event options for you and your doggo to have fun outside of the house.

**Keep in mind – the heat is still very dangerous! Many of these events are taking the weather into account and take place during the morning or evening hours. While we’d love for you to have a good time with your furry family members out in the community, please be cautious. If you suspect your pet is showing signs of heatstroke, contact us immediately. **

Tails and Tunes

JULY 29, 7PM – 9PM
Mutt’s Canine Cantina, Dallas and Fort Worth

Mutt’s Canine Cantina has a couple of events to highlight before the end of the summer. The first is happening this weekend! Both the Fort Worth and Dallas park locations will be hosting their
Tails and Tunes series with an evening of $4 Rahr beer drafts and live music from local artists as the sun goes down. Guests can also treat their pup with MUTTS’ various doggie delicacies. Can’t make it this Friday? There’s another opportunity for another night out at the end of August (8/26)!

Pups will also be able to compete in several contests for prizes – a pet swimsuit contest, a pet and owner look-a-like contest, a dog paddle race, and a diving contest!
