Some of you might ask why there’s a Cat World Domination Day. Some of you might even ponder why Cat World Domination isn’t celebrated every day. But, how many of you are wondering whether the takeover by our furry felines hasn’t already happened!?

Started in 2012, the day has become an annual reminder that those mischievous rascals that we’ve made a part of our families, might really be up to something. If you own a cat (or, rather if it owns you), you’ve seen the signs – the awkward glances, the evil genius plans forming on their brows, or the suspicious disappearances of much needed supplies.

Let us know if you’ve seen some of these instances, or if we may have missed some! What is sure, however, if you’ve seen these signs – beware!

All-Seeing Eyes 

Do you ever get the feeling you’re being watched? Like the Eye of Sauron, cats need to know all that’s going on. And what better vantage point than from the high ground? From these lofty perches, they can better strategize troop movements and patrol patterns.

Did you see something? Maybe not. But maybe so? Don’t forget in your furry feline’s efforts for world domination, practicing the art of stealth is a must. The effort they put in to blending into the background and moving at the speed of light when necessary is laudable and should be commended.

Don’t be fooled. Even from a young age, these adorable kitties are ingrained with the drive to seize power. They’ll woo you with their kitty fuzz, their over-large eyes, their precious meows for attention. Deception! It’s truly a plot to keep your guard down while they put their plan in motion.

One cat alone isn’t enough for true world domination. Calling on others for aid is the next step! While it may look like they’re giving each other a sniff, a kiss, or a bath, these are just opportunities to pass along secret messages, codes, and information about the next stages in their plans.
