Welcome to another AVC Staff Spotlight! As we get closer to the holidays, we want to show off just how grateful we are for our fantastic AVC family. This week, let’s learn a little bit more about one of our receptionists, Kristal!
How long have you worked at AVC?
I started in February of 2017, so I have worked at AVC for around 3.5 years!
Where did you go to school/train for your position?
I got my training on the job at an ER as a tech.
What is your favorite part about working at AVC?
My favorite part about working at AVC is getting to know the pets and watching them grow up.
What is your favorite type of animal to work with?
Large, big headed dogs are my favorite!
Do you have a favorite memory from your time at AVC?
Our Christmas Party at Alley Cats!
Do you have pets of your own?
Yes, I have four dogs named Moose, Ruki, Henny, and Kobe and four cats named Ceri, Finn, Mishak, and Shrimp.
What are some of your favorite hobbies/things you do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, camping, and hanging out with my family.
