Though your favorite restaurant may have opened back up and some public areas have started to return to normal, most of us are still relying on virtual and socially distant sources of entertainment. Before you set out on your next Netflix marathon or hop on a video chat with your besties, why not throw some pet-friendly virtual activities into the mix? Check out this list of 5 activities that you can engage in online with your furry best friend, and let us know which ones look the most fun!
1. Say Cheese!
It’s time to kickstart your pup’s rise to fame and get them in front of a camera! Have an at-home photoshoot with your little guy or gal, and enter into an online photo contest to share their cuteness with the world.
2. Time for a Fur-Filled Reunion
For your next videochat get-together, why not have everyone include their furry best friends? They’ll love the extra snuggles and attention, and you will enjoy chatting with friends and seeing their adorable pets.
If your family is searching for a new furry addition, why not include your current little fluffball(s) in the mission? While seeing their potential new brother or sister on a screen might not garner a big reaction, they will still appreciate being included in the process. Plus, some extra tummy scratches or snuggles while you’re on the search are never a bad thing.
Just because your local doggy school may be closed down doesn’t mean that the learning has to end! Dedicate some extra time this week to trying out an online doggy training video. Whether your furry pal is young or old, it’s never too late to teach them a few new tricks!
5. Let’s shop!
It’s time for a shopping spree! Next time your pet is in need of a new toy, allow them to help out with making a selection for double the fun. Find product demonstration videos, especially those with sound, and try to gauge your little guy or gal’s reaction! If they seem to get extra excited about a certain toy, then your decision is made!
