August Dental Promotion
It’s the moment we have all been waiting for!!! Our August back to school dental promo is back!
Arlington Veterinary Center will maintain its regular schedule of hours
Monday through Saturday to serve the needs of your pets.
Arlington Veterinary Center is an outstanding animal medical and surgical facility with decades of experience in preventing and treating infectious diseases in pets, including the many viral, bacterial, rickettsial and protozoan diseases of dogs and cats as well as fleas, ticks, heartworm disease and intestinal parasites.
At this point, pets do not appear to become ill with COVID-19, but there are other illnesses they may encounter. The stringent requirements in the AVC boarding facility including current vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea and tick control are in place to protect every pet that is entrusted to our care.
Arlington Veterinary Center has six exam rooms. We usually can stay on schedule with appointments and minimize wait times even with our standard, thorough cleaning procedures after each pet visit.
Because COVID-19 is a real and potentially serious illness, Arlington Veterinary Center will increase our efforts to ensure the facilities and general environment are as safe as possible not only for your pet, but also for the pet’s family members. Unfortunately, these additional measures may slow patient processing:
If you are mildly ill, but your pet needs to be seen, AVC will do our best to reduce exposure to others in the office. When you arrive, we may ask you to enter from one of our east side doors and go directly into an exam room without passing through the reception area.
Due to short supplies, AVC is unable to provide surgical masks, the purpose of which is to prevent the wearer’s cough or sneeze from spraying those around. However, what we CAN provide is a brand new, clean bandana!
Arlington Veterinary Center is following the recommendation of the Center for Disease Control by reducing person to person physical contact. All of us at AVC will miss those hearty hugs and handshakes and will not likely bump fists or elbows, BUT we will greet you with … an “infectious” smile.
