Bonnie S. Harris, BSN, BSVS, DVM received her training from the University of Florida, the University of Texas at Arlington, and Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Harris is licensed in the state of Texas and belongs to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), the Rotary Club of Arlington and is active in her local church.
Veterinary medicine is her lifelong journey. She grew up going on calls with her father, Dr. Herbert C. Schoonover, then joined him in small animal practice after graduation from vet school. Strong family ties to this profession are perpetuated with her daughter, Tradel, who practices medicine in a busy small animal hospital in the Finger Lakes region of New York.
Dr. Harris loves music, family, travel and working in her yard.
