Arlington Veterinary Center is fortunate to have Abby Wimmer, D.V.M. join our outstanding team of veterinarians. Dr. Wimmer is a 2026 graduate of the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and brings her experience in several areas of veterinary practice including the unique dairy practice environment.

Dr. Wimmer approaches each case with eyes open and with the joy of applying her wide knowledge base to the needs of her patients and the pet families.

Dr. Wimmer’s particular interests in veterinary practice are internal medicine diagnostics and treatments, surgery and dentistry.

In her spare time, Dr. Wimmer is honing her culinary skills, especially bread-making and is a developing, competitive pinball wizard.

Dr. Wimmer is an avid reader and a proud Fightin’ Texas Aggie fan.
